The University runs many outreach activies for schools in the area to experience the examples of science research carried out in the University, covering chemistry, physics, biology and Earth Science.
Science Communication Unit (SCU)
Through BIG BANG! Science Entertainment, the SCU can deliver presentations and demonstration lectures in schools for pupils at all Key Stages, as well as Continuing Professional Development courses for science teachers.
