Catalyst Science Discovery Centre
Located in Widnes, Catalyst Science Discovery Centre, is the only UK museum solely devoted to chemistry. It is a development funded through chemical corporate sponsorship, government and lottery funds.
The centre aims to educate all ages about the chemical industry, and runs a series of workshops for schoolchildren featuring hands-on laboratory activities and interactive films. There is also a Science Club (usually held on the 2nd Saturday of every month), and special public events for families during the school holidays.
