Schools
Halton has one secondary school with Science Specialist Status (Bankfield) and two with Technology Specialist Status (Wade Deacon and the Heath). All are committed to presenting Halton as a place for enriched science learning alongside the national curriculum. Sponsorship from local science and technology businesses enable the schools to provide a stimulating learning environment using the latest advances in technology such as laboratories, ICT suites and interactive whiteboards.
