Daresbury Science & Innovation Campus (DSIC)
Home to Daresbury Laboratory, Daresbury Innovation Centre and the Cockcroft Institute, Daresbury SIC is a world class location where hi-tech business and leading edge science co-exist, collaborate and grow.
One of only two government backed Science & Innovation Campuses, its stakeholders include the NWDA, STFC, Halton Borough Council and the Universities of Lancaster, Liverpool and Manchester.
Plans are underway to significantly expand the Campus towards the adjoining Daresbury Business Park, aimed at creating an integrated science and business campus with the capacity to accommodate leading edge businesses, world-class, large scale science facilities, national and international research centres and a technical skills academy.
The mission to become an internationally recognised community of scientific, innovation and entrepreneurial excellence, which supports successful collaborations and creates world class R&D, hi-tech businesses and high skills jobs, is already becoming a reality.
