
Engineering Education Scheme (England) - EESE
The Engineering Education Scheme (England) links teams of four 17-18 yr old students with engineering, science & applied technological businesses to work on real projects and problems.
Over 89% of students involved go onto study related degrees. Benefits to companies: involvement with the future workforce, a raised public profile, development of project management skills, opportunity to strengthen business-education links. Three companies in Halton are involved in the scheme: STFC Daresbury Laboratory, Ineos Chlor and Ineos Fluor.
